Rhinoceros Pregnancy Due Date and Timeline Calculator
Rhinoceros Pregnancy Calculator
This calculator estimates a rhinoceros due date and builds a pregnancy timeline based on the breeding (conception) date, a reference date (usually today), and an estimated pregnancy length in days. You can select a species to load a typical value or override the length if you have a specific estimate.
How the due date is calculated
The core estimate is simple date arithmetic:
\( \text{Due Date} = \text{Breeding Date} + \text{Gestation Days} \)
Because real pregnancies vary, treat the result as an estimate rather than a guaranteed date.
Progress and days remaining
Progress is computed at your selected reference date:
\( \text{Days Pregnant} = \text{Reference Date} - \text{Breeding Date} \)
\( \text{Progress \%} = \frac{\text{Days Pregnant}}{\text{Gestation Days}} \times 100 \)
\( \text{Days Remaining} = \text{Gestation Days} - \text{Days Pregnant} \)
If the progress exceeds 100%, the pregnancy is shown as Overdue and the UI highlights the relevant rows.
Timeline table modes
The timeline always remains visible:
- Simple mode lists monthly milestones (plus the due date and the reference-day marker).
- Detailed mode lists weekly milestones (plus the due date and the reference-day marker).
This gives you a practical checkpoint list without requiring advanced knowledge.
Practical notes
Species-specific pregnancy length differs and can vary among individuals. Use the table as an organized planning view rather than a medical tool. If you are managing an animal under professional care, always defer to veterinary guidance.
